'Hearthstone' A Temporus Shift Tavern Brawl Guide: Two Turns to Victory

This week's Hearthstone Tavern Brawl is called "A Temporus Shift," and it plays off everyone's least-favorite blue dragon. Each player gets to take two turns in a row, drawing a card and refreshing their mana. It's an interesting Brawl that changes one of the core mechanics of the game, though it does have its downsides.

The player who goes first is guaranteed an advantage which nullifies the Coin's advantage. The Coin was first implemented into Hearthstone to give players going second a chance to catch up in manar. When player one gets two mana before there's a chance to respond, it can be hard to turn the tide. Players who go first in this Brawl have a higher chance of victory, but that doesn't necessarily mean player two can't win. Like most Brawls, luck is the key factor to victory.

In terms of decks, any modern Standard list will do. Some cards do have a stronger impact on the game, like Doomsayer, which completely clears the board or The Lich King, which generates two cards very quickly. Playing the Brawl, you see a lot of Zoolock, Odd Hunter and Quest Rogue, just like you would on ladder. If you just need a quick win, pick your strongest deck and queue up to get that Classic Pack.
